JW Stanger brings the professional design capability, large scale Project Management experience, as well as many technical skills to the company.
JW graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering in 2004, following in 2009 he earned his Professional Engineer's License. He has experience in designing runoff infiltration systems, sediment basins, and water management systems which meet Indiana Department of Environmental Management "IDEM" standards.
JW has worked on several large construction projects in both Indiana and Illinois allowing him to refine his ability to build great relationships with various local, state and federal agencies, subcontractors, suppliers, as well as private owners, minimizing potential problems. JW has managed construction and installation of drainage culverts, stream bank stabilization, erosion control best management practices, as well as retention and detention basins. JW has experience working with IDEM to re-route streams.
JW is proficient in project scheduling, the use of GPS Rover and GPS Machine Control processes and using this equipment to prepare technical drawings and documentation. JW has the capability to create an existing 3D Surface Model of an area, modify the model to match all design criteria, and use the new design 3D Surface Model to physically lay out the project. Using Microsoft Project, JW can create and maintain very elaborate Critical Path Method "CPM" Schedules.
